Forever Love Painting

Joyful color combinations and free flowing brush strokes are elements I use to create paintings with movement that brings us to a new place- somewhere we’ve never been before. Being in that moment, connecting with the piece, we start to make sense of ourselves. Every life experience is part of our story. The emotions and feeling we have may disorient us, when we don’t realizing the why and how. Taking a moment with the artwork, it starts reflecting back to us- bringing a new understanding. Every painting is created in the perfect timing, some taking longer- painted over and over again until it finds a new life. My paintings go through many stages, which represent the seasons we go through in our lives. Some not so pretty, but no matter how long it takes it becomes a beautiful, if imperfect, piece. The many layers of color build up, adding more depth to the painting and bringing out my playful inner child- keeping life joyous and lighthearted. I surrender and let the brush guide me to create something unique and different every time. Each piece brings love and light, reminding us to find joy in everything we do. In every season there is hope knowing that it’s all part of the whole story.
