Forward to success! Painting

Hello! My name is Elena Volkovitskaya. I was born and raised in a small urban-type settlement in the Novosibirsk region, Russia. As a child, I loved to draw and, blowing out the candles on the birthday cake, I dreamed of sets of paints and markers.:)) I was lucky! My parents and grandmother noticed my passion for fine art and sent me to art school. There I got basic knowledge about perspective, light and shadow, and so on. But my self-doubt did not allow me to enter the art Academy. I was afraid to even try. I didn't think I could do it.. and then I entered the University of Architecture and civil engineering with a degree in water supply and Sewerage Engineering. Completely unaware of what I would do next. And then, after graduating from University, I realized that I wanted to connect my life with creativity. At first, I custom-made portraits in the style of pop art. Made and sold several dozen portraits (or even more). Then I devoted several years to the technique of airbrushing. I even had my own school. And everything was great, until at some point I thought - what do I really want in reality!? To do business or to draw? And chose the second. At the beginning of 2016, I closed the school, and with the remaining money I bought canvases and paints and began to experiment. The next 4 years were spent under the motto " I Want to find myself, do what I like and not stay hungry" :))) I began to try everything: I poured liquid acrylic on canvas, painted landscapes in oil, tried to work with volume, then with epoxy resin, and so on. and so on. In parallel, I began to engage in self-development, became interested in psychology and a little esotericism. In my personal life, there were various events that somehow resonated in my work. I could write a whole book here! :) But I will try to be brief. Now I live and work in Novosibirsk. My paintings are in private collections all over the country. Since the beginning of 2020, I have loved butter. And I loved the color. I let go of my inner limitations, fears, doubts, and allowed myself to just create. I finally fell in love with Myself!
