About The Artwork
This painting was inspired by the wild foxglove flowers that grow in the Surrey countryside where I walk my dog. I hope that it conveys something of the emotion that the beautiful English summers landscape can bring. I used layer upon layer of thinned fluid acrylics to create a soft, loose feel to the painting.
