In Antwerp I have drawn inspiration from the Flemish Masters and in particular Rubens's famous altarpieces in the Cathedral of Our Lady which I have extensively sketched. This painting is part of the series Fragmenting Rubens. I would like to connect with the feelings of the viewers and leave questions in their mind. This is the right panel of the diptych Fragmenting Rubens II and III.

Jorge Posada is a Colombian-born American painter, printmaker and sculptor. He lives and works in New York. With the use of strong gestural brush and pencil strokes, Posada has developed a distinctive semi-figurative, semi-abstract style creating series of paintings and drawings in mixed media on canvas and paper. Posada has always been inspired by the human experience addressing topics such as migration, exodus, the disappearance of people and the anonymous presence of the human being in the urban environment.
