"If it makes you FEEL is ART." My goal is that through the topics addressed I make a color "x-ray" of the contemporary psychological spectrum. The human psychic and its valences in different contexts is represented by the forms that the character' carnality takes as a result of their interaction with reality. Light and shadow dance on the canvas to create a spectacle of form, while color stains, touches and effects create the atmosphere. The rational and the emotional come into contact with reality through the physical body and the senses and, following the mental mixing with the previous experiences and contributing to the creation of a unique and personal perspective. The mental perspective is represented visually by form and color, thus creating a picture journal, a "mindbook", on whose timeline interpretations and perspectives flow. Everything that the human mind is capable of producing, is part of reality which is formed by the actions of the individual as a result of the perspective formed from social experiences. Essentially it is about the human psyche transposed as an aesthetic existence realized through composition and the character's passage through the pictorial process. In general, the technique used is a mixed one, oil and acrylic. The human subject is portrayed in a realistic way using the oil painting technique, this being the representation of rational thinking. In contrast to this come the abstract brushes, a combination of oil colors, acrylic and occasionally other materials such as markers, sprays, these representing emotions, the irrational, the inner feelings. The contrasts are powerful both from the point of view of the form, the brushwork and the chromatic one, with the purpose of highlighting the central message of each canvas. In each work, a state and a new perspective arising from social interactions and inner experiences are evoked. I believe that the role of the artist is to constantly investigate and "publish" the result of these investigations, through the art he or she produces, always looking for the most expressive forms of communication.
