Beata Kmita was born in Poland in 1974 and developed a love for nature through her travels. She studied Organizational Psychology but became more focused on the awakening of consciousness rather than developing human capital. Although she never imagined becoming an artist, Beata is self-taught and creates abstract compositions in a gestural, intuitive style, using techniques like acrylic, oil, spray paint, charcoal, and other texturizing materials. After living in several countries, Beata moved to Mexico at 29 and, at 33, experienced a spiritual awakening that deeply influenced her art. The vibrant landscapes and culture of the Mexican Caribbean inspire her work. Beata paints not only to create, but to speak directly to others through her art, as if each piece is a personal dialogue. Her influences include Joan Mitchell and Jackson Pollock. Her art reflects her journey and invites the viewer to connect with their own inner world, elevating their consciousness. “I am passionate about Human Development and nature; being authentic is essential for the awakening of consciousness, and that is what I convey in my art.”If i were to name my work, it would be called "The Man in Search of Himself." The piece is inspired by human growth—emotional, mental, and spiritual. Being a contemporary abstract artist opens up possibilities to establish a bridge with the public. My works invite the viewer to connect with themselves and explore their inner world. During the process, I enjoy painting in silence, listening to my inner music, and sometimes playing classical notes, especially Mozart. I love abstraction, colors, expressionism, and impressionism. I prefer a gestural and intuitive style. I work with a variety of techniques, such as acrylic, oil, ink, spray paint, charcoal, gold leaf, pencil, pastel, oil pastel, earth, sand, and other texturizing materials. When facing the blank canvas, my world stops; I feel free to paint what my soul desires to express. It is a process of healing, liberation, and self-knowledge, and it can also serve as a mirror for the viewer who connects with the artwork.
