ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Painting: Oil and Acrylic on Canvas. Inspired by my travels to Havana in 2019. The cars were vintage and took me back to life before I was even born. They felt celebratory, free, joyful and captured a time in history when things were skillfully made and time wasn't so rushed. The painting is an expression of what I felt driving around Havana, having fun romanticizing that special era in time, and recognizing that I want more of that in life.
