A princess looking girl proudly rides a tiger she is fusing with. The tiger itself fuses with the jungle with his stripes. They walk towards a brighter place. The tiger represents willpower, strength and courage whilst the pink flowers spread around and in the girl's hair are from the Albizia, also known as the tree of happiness. It's a symbolism of the strength and tenacity many black girls and women still have to portray to fight racism yet in this day and age, heading towards a brighter future where peace and happiness prevails. IMPORTANT TECHNICAL DETAILS The painting is currently stored rolled in a tube. If you would like to receive it this way, please contact Saatchi Art when you make the purchase and $500 will be deducted from the price displayed.

Best known for his cross-cultural approach, Oscar Lett stands out by his bold looking paintings prominently using black and contrasting metallic colours. Based in NYC, the Parisian artist loves to embrace the influences of the countries he lived in. After moving to London to study at Central Saint Martins, Oscar then moved to Kyoto as he sought teaching from the masters of Nihonga (traditional Japanese painting). Appropriating each culture and their aesthetics, O.L. developed a unique style depicting a world where opposites can coexist and where people overcome their struggles in impossible urban jungles. Working in large-scale and always craving bigger, Oscar naturally moved to New York in 2016 and made the street his new playground. Since then Lett has been developing a wide portfolio of murals in Europe and the U.S., allowing his fine art and street art practices to inspire one another.
