ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Two girls in skirts sitting on a fence with big clouds in the sky, in the late thirties. I was inspired by this photo when working on the lay-out of a book retracing a family history. By working with just 4 colors (titanium white, mars black, ultramarine blue and burnt sienna) I created a vintage, yet very modern piece which looks great in a modern house or loft.

I wish to produce genuine art and tell stories with my paintings. After breaking a leg last year, I had to stay in bed and picked up water color. Artists like Edward Hopper, Joaquin Sorolla and Egon Schiele inspire me greatly. My favourite subjects are people, views with water (sea, river, lake, boats) and fly fishing.
