About The Artwork
This piece was painted during a recent evening after telling my husband a story about my lifelong inability to maintain a plant. It features a potted palm of the variety that was called a friendship plant when I was a kid, and a lovely leafy indoor plant with delightful gaps in its leaves, spilling over a rotund little delft pot. The blue and white pot and ginger jar complement the vibrant green plants and the soft coral pink of the wall behind the subjects. A white tablecloth finishes the piece. This painting is on a cradled wood board and is ready to frame or hang as is.
