Frog ina Puddle (Sold) Painting

I draw and paint and call it art, I like thinking and pretty things and the way a good thought is also a pretty thing. I am fascinated by balance and randomness, which I think is provisionally where I start from, an interest in numbers for numbers sake adds to it all, and then is just what? I used to think that every painting had to be painted to represent some meaning or truth, which had me stumbling along trying to find a meaning or a truth. Then when I just popped a picture together for a friend one day and found that where I hadn't intended any meaning I had implied some nonetheless. I realized that without intention one puts meaning into everything, and in the simple pursuit of doing better and making a pretty thing it will acquire meaning.
