At this time when it is difficult not to talk about covid-19, I did not want to focus on this pandemic as a subject in itself, but on one of its consequences, probably the one that affects me personally the most, and that is the reappearance of borders, let me explain; although borders in themselves had never disappeared, we could say that they had done so for the free movement of people in terms of leisure. While our parents had lived this idea that great journeys were made only a couple of times in a lifetime, we moved around the world with an ease never seen before, we could go for a weekend in some part of Europe, like those who used to go to Torreblanca (Spain) or spend the summer in Thailand as we used to do in Ibiza. And suddenly all that disappears, the movement is limited to your country and, depending on the moment, to your community or your city, the limits are drawn more than ever and the frontiers become really palpable. For that reason I wanted to make this series of paintings, inspired by souvenirs from different places in the world, as a symbol of travel, which at that time reminded me of the absence of travel and now reminds me how fortunate we are to be able to move easily around the world and know different realities.

artista multidisciplinal. Statement: From my own experience of attachment towards my possessions , I started Investigate about the links develop people with the objects around us , the need to retain and limits between possession and obsession. I am interested in mainly the limit between what is considered normal and diseased , reconsidering the parameters that define that things. From this personal experience , I was treating this issue in a more general way , focusing especially on everyday acts related to different forms and patterns of accumulation , from Conservation International as souvenirs to collectibles . I also interested in the spaces dedicated to the act of accumulating like The attics , storage rooms , cabinets, etc . The type of objects preserved there and how these objects behave in different spaces . The attachment, Accumulation , Vacuum Fear , Obsession and memory are key words in my work .
