"Fxxx plastic bags" Painting

I'm not a toy Damien- Paul Gal is rather sensitive to the city, to macadam, to plastic and, above all, to a consumer society which has superseded the law, religion and philosophy. He has set himself the task of taming consumerism, with its "˜hot moulding' technology, and to use it to denounce the very society that oppresses us. Multiples layers of polyethylene patiently attached to pickup frames. Alternating his bags, drawings and icons, the artist plays with materials, holes and some transparencies, allowing him to benefit from the printed images on previous layers. What could be more industrial than waste packaging? What could be more polluting than a plastic bag? This is the challenge he answers to create a work full of codes, colours and power.
