...Dal 2009 ho iniziato il mio percorso artistico dipingendo soprattutto figure femminili, donne e madri, quasi sempre africane , affascinata dalla loro cultura, dai riti e dai costumi, approfonditi durante i miei viaggi e attraverso il confronto con amici fotografi e colleghi di cinema. Nella serie di lavori per la mostra Tangibile-Immaginario ho interpretato, spesso stravolgendone il contesto, una serie di immagini di un reportage fotografico in Etiopia. Utilizzo soprattutto gli acrilici, mischiati a sabbia e gesso, su tele realizzate con vecchi tessuti di tappezzeria o stoffe di costumi teatrali. Il cinema ed il teatro costituiscono un ricco bagaglio dal quale attingere, anche dal punto di vista materico, poiché utilizzo stoffe africane, pelle e pizzi antichi per "vestire" i miei personaggi. Nell'ultima mostra Metamorfosi del 2014 ho reso omaggio ai grandi maestri del passato ritraendo modelle di colore per reinterpretare i loro capolavori.
