About The Artwork
Lately I’ve been drawn to more figurative work with a focus on women and fashion. Whilst painting this I was listening to a number of different albums and heard the line 'Good on my Own'. I can't recall the song now but it seemed fitting to include the actual words in the painting. The older I get the more I've learned to care less about what other people think and to learn to trust myself.

Her works are simple abstract representations of the subject matter. She paints in acrylics and and loves colour! 'I have always wanted to paint but my route has taken me a little longer. I feel most alive and connected when I’m being creative. I always start with a picture in mind but without fail the process of reproducing the image leads me on a different journey, only to arrive at an alternate destination.
