I am an artist from Jamshedpur, in India.I love to exhibit the rich history of India as well as uphold the aura of Indian folk art through my artwork. A commerce graduate ,an MBA in Retail management and a former professional in Retail Sector, I couldn’t hold my love for painting for a long & decided to become an artist. My artworks are blend of Indian folk art patterns such as Madhubani painting from Mithila,Gond art from Central India,Alpana from Bengal ,Warli art from Maharashtra ,Kalamkari from Andhra Pradesh ,Bengal Potchitro ,Odisha Pattachitra,Kerala Mural,Sohrai art & Kohvar art of Jharkhand etc. Along with a touch of contemporary style.I endeavor to promote Indian folk art by experimenting it with an amalgamation of western heritage ,such as Australian Dot painting. . From past 4 years I am trying to promote these unique art styles in Seattle,WA & San Francisco,CA.I used to do volunteering at Vala art centre ,in Seattle,WA . Now I am member of Sunnyvale art club,in Sunnyvale,CA.
