About The Artwork
Gaia of Delphi inspired in my meditations in the oracle of Apollo s temple in Delphi. This painting belongs to the wider project"Planetary Consciousness: the Soul of Gaia" and it was completed under the auspice of the Region of Central Creece. The figure is inspired by a statue that is in the museum of Delphi Gaia of Deplhi balances between the opposites and combines them in harmony within her. The snake, the Python symbo of instictual self and the winges symbol of aloppo , light and divine self are just the two peaks of human expression.
