This encaustic mixed media piece is actually 3D. The texture from the stones ( jade, quartz, moonstone and beach pebble) is layered over the photography and burned in through the encaustic medium. The stones are used for their gentle healing energy and beauty. Ganesha is the Hindu Deity, known to be the remover of obstacles. I have always felt a strong connection to Ganesh. Even though I am spiritual not religious, I have a great respect for many cultures, religions and spiritual practices. Allow the energy of the art to uplift you and your space.
