About The Artwork

The days of the Great Gatsbi were dazzling, the American dream of happiness and success. The period of prohibition and gangsters is one of the most colorful periods in US history. The woman in the painting is perhaps a gangster girl ... dressed in a white stole and a shiny dress, a participant in grand parties and balls. I painted the picture in the technique of oil paints, I refer to the style of "modern impressionism".

Anna Zawadzka - Dziuda. Born in Poland in 1981. My work is currently dominated by portraits. I 'm inspired by contemporary man, his way of being, who's give in the spirit of modern world in a special way. In portraying human or object I am looking for a simple message. For me character that's the color, form and patterns. My style of work that's searching of coherence between form and color. In art-painting I'm choosing saturated colors, emphasized by painting contrast.
