About The Artwork
Fantasy medley as it is. Tattoos, graff, abstract, my classic old works elements, favourite mediums, techniques and genres mixed together, easy flow and symbolism opened to individual interpretation.This is a very special work, for many reasons, it's complexity, stylistic edginess, it's maturation as in years in the creating through different stand alone captured phases in collection ("unfinished business"), as well as the base charred wooden base layer fermenting with years of oxidising, but most of all - it's story. This work not only is a consummation of the series the sole basis of which it was, but now it is also the completion and grand finale where the "unfinished business" finally came to it's result. I've already mentioned that my artistic way is not just make same artwork, put it out, write dry description and repeat, I see it as if I am a story maker almost, and the works are like movies, tales, not all necessarily real or straight forward, but so as movies, and it's not for nothing that movies are also called "pictures". And as one of the maestros once mentioned, it only takes love and passion to making a great picture. Everything else is an extra. But if you love it and have enough passion you can't help it but make a good picture. There is a strong correlation in both creative processes and how it could be viewed. As this collection started somewhere and have come somewhere. So almost feel myself as a director to a cartoon here with this one. This one is for fun. Sometimes there needs to be a piece like this, and this one I take pride for, with all it's flaws and peculiarities. Not only it concludes the series that's been in the making for almost 5 years but also it makes for a milestone and continues the story of a 10 year old journey of an artist that makes it a main priority to stay true to himself. It's certainly a statement piece. But also the one that encourages not to take shit too serious. Enjoy it if you can. Cheers
