About The Artwork

2022 King Midas was so consumed by greed that he desired everything that came into contact with him to turn to Gold. He eventually learned his lesson when the food he wanted to consume to save his hunger also turn into gold. Similar to how Midas wished for the same things, so do contemporary capitalists. Capitalist are pretending to be humane by providing Gold apples to those who are starving. This is nothing more than a travesty committed in the name of humanity.

My paintings pivot around the feeling and belief that the essence of a painting may vary greatly in color and content the way an individual viewer’s perspective entails, which ends up unfolding the skin of a living thought. My inquisitive mind explores diverse artistic and intellectual avenues, and I never retract from experimenting in my own style. I never lose sight of a snowball effect of paintings preempting corruption of the privileged class and social injustice. Viewers can vouch for my analytic mind and hardworking ethos as an artist to see my paintings along with my pleasant demeanor. Website: https://nargispoly.com/
