Giverny Blue Bridge 2” - an original one of a kind large oil on canvas Impressionist painting. 76 x 50 cm, unframed. Famous view of Monet’s garden in Giverny and his legendary Japanese Bridge. I created this soothing and vibrant masterpiece in my studio. Your eyes wander along the water lilie pond towards the centre of the bridge. You almost feel like you are sitting in a boat, paddling along. I made it in the mixed technique style by using both the brush and the palette knife. It is partly very layered which makes it almost 3D and richly textured (impasto). I used Michael Harding professional oil paint which is rich in colour and texture and will make the painting last at least a lifetime. Painted on a stretched quality 100% linen canvas.

I am a London based professional artist painter, born in Russia in 1972 and I discovered my love for oil painting in 2009 and became a professional artist shortly after attending art college in 2010. In 2015 I joined the Moscow Union of Professional Artists and worked in one of the oldest art schools in Moscow (Moscow Creative and Art Studio), where I conducted Master Classes. I also spent a couple of years in Turkey, where I focused on Art Therapy based Master classes and Plein Air Landscape painting. In 2021 I moved to the UK from where I obtained a certificate in Art Therapy and painted in different locations around London and also continued teaching individuals the techniques of impressionist oil paintings. My paintings are in private collections all over the world, including the UK, USA, Malaysia, Germany, Canada, China, France, Portugal, and Sweden. “I am not in charge of my painting - my painting is in charge of me”.
