When I paint flowers, I do not try to represent the original exactly, but to express through them some meaning. That meaning sometimes is more explicit, sometimes less, deliberately encouraging the viewer’s free interpretation and letting each viewer to have a different personal experience in perception of my artworks.

This picture was created in December 2020 and named "Attraction". This is an original, one-of a kind artwork painted in impasto technique using palette knife and thickened acrylic paints. This technique not only creates a three-dimensional impression, but it also adds a richness and dramatic effect to the artwork. Dimensions: 10" x 8" in. Painted on a canvas board. Framed. Frame dimensions: 12.75 x 10.75 in.
