Painting: Acrylic, Oil on Canvas.
'Glass': I like the thought that art and artists reflect each other on a kind of transparent plane, through time. I think that is what Duchamp was after in his 'Glass'. He was unconfident of finding 'IT' by using just 'paint'. While others were using steel, glass, explosives. I am confident that steel, glass and explosives will not be heard, will not reflect what we are looking for.
Tender and soft things will resonate.
"I AM Van Gogh, you know?" - Pablo Picasso.
(from André Malraux' "Picasso's Mask").
Acrylics and oil on canvas, created in summer 2013. The work is ready to hang. If framed, I recommend using a shadow gap frame.
