"Glory" Painting

The "Glory" of the human soul. All civilizations, as far back as archeologists have unearthed, display a belief of something after this life. Burial graves containing food, hunting weapons, finely woven cloth, boats, even the bones of servants to help the departed on his journey after death. The Egyptians went to great extent to insure safe passage from this world to the next. My personal belief is that we all have a soul that is released from earthly bondage upon death. This is my earthly interpretation of the colors we will see. I believe my human eyes can perceive only earthly colors. But Heaven. Heaven is where we'll see colors never before seen! With our soul's eyes, new colors will amaze us. As an artist, this will be fantastic. This painting depicts a spiritual story. However, it is a story that can only be told with the restrictions of earth bound tools, eyes and imagination. None the less, it is a work to be pondered. The more I look, the more I see.
