God spoke to me through a burning cactus Painting

I like to think that the events at mount sinai could’ve also happed in the Andes mountains. Instead of a bush burning it could’ve been a cactus. I have always wanted to create a fire scene with acrylic but I didn’t think I had mastered lighting. After completing this painting I am now confident I can paint many more night scenes. My favorite part of this painting was the flames. I learned a couple things making them and they turned out so lively. I love to paint surreal desert scenes. I feel like it is part of me in some way.
