St Martins School of Art and Design London UK Born in Sussex UK Lives in Brighton UK My work captures timeless moments of joy along the coastline, evoked from sea swimming, bike rides, train journeys and walks watching the murmurations dance in a dusk sky, I am interested in creating luminous spaces in time from our natural world when the spirit of this inspiration turns into the matter of paint on canvas or wood to share these connecting moments of abstract response and colour love of the gold waking first light and sleeping of the day of urban sea towns and Sussex countryside that perch along the anicent ebbing tides of shores. I often start my paintings Plien Air to translate the light, movement of ethers into my paintings and complete them back at my studio. My method is with acylic and spray paint paintbrush, rag and can producing contrast of surface, matt, gloss and woodgrain, Studio Green House Art Cooperative founder
