"Hi, I’m Trudi Hipworth. I live in Melbourne with my husband, two sons, and a crazy fun mix of dogs, cats, and parrots that make our home lively and full of love. Inspired by the beauty of everyday wonders—like the intricate patterns of butterfly wings, the vibrant colours of bird feathers, the rich hues and textures of rocks and precious stones, and the stunning palettes found in the sky, sunrises, sunsets, and flowers—I embark on an endless journey of creativity and expression. It's the colours, textures, and marks in nature everywhere that captivate my imagination and find their way into my artwork. I have a deep passion for playing with colours and exploring their harmonies and contrasts through acrylics, mixed media, and a variety of tools like sponges, brushes, feathers, and rags to create instinctive and meditative artworks. Coming from an artistic family, my creative path deepened after personal challenges, revealing the profound therapeutic power of art. This journey has been characterised by experimentation and a desire for personal expression. Since 2009, I've exhibited widely in Melbourne and Sydney, with my pieces now held in private collections across Australia, Europe, and the United States, resonating with audiences worldwide."
