Great Arthur House is undergoing a refurbishment and this piece captures the process as the builders climb across the facade updating the windows and walls, the rich yellow of the panels reminds me of a Mondrian. The blue and black of the windows contrasts the rich yellow as the nets hang at once inhabited windows, suggesting past lives of those who inhabited this block. An every day scene which when studied suggests a wonderful urban beauty.
