ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Inspired by a song of the same title by the folk singer/song writer Dave Van Ronk. I love folk music and the stories the songs share. They're small pieces of history. I painted this while listening to the Dave Van Ronk song "Green, Green, Rocky Road". I hope the viewers find this to be a fitting homage to the song. I enjoy acrylic paint especially for these quick small paintings. I love doing small art as well. It allows me to do the painting quickly and moving on to another story. I consider small paintings like "short stories".
