Groom Dance Floor Painting

We all have in us, a part of creativity, an artist's soul. But when we do not accomplish it, when we do not let it express itself, it persists in manifesting itself, generating a part of dissatisfaction, frustration, even trouble. This is my whole story and my journey, until the revelations that were photography, then painting. As a teenager and until I started a professional life, in a field far removed from art... I dedicate myself to music. Starting the guitar, then quickly becoming a multi-instrumentalist, I set up a band, performed on stage and went on tour. At the same time, I try my hand at photography, portraits, photography "of people". Between music and photography, I feel all the good that these artistic activities give me, a need is born. Then, I enter the active life, I do consulting, with all the method, and the "seriousness", that it requires. I put aside my instruments, and my camera. In 2010, a deep artistic desire, a desire for creation, surfaced. I take out my camera and resume the photograph. But I have to go further, "simple" photography does not really fill me. I then try to project photos on my models to give another dimension to my creations, a more pictorial dimension, I rework them by computer, to give them more "disturbance, rhythm, madness". Quickly, under the pseudonym URBAN TAG, I entered the gallery and made my first sales. Since then, I have exhibited regularly in Paris, Arles, London, Brussels, China, Canada, New York City and also in Marseille, Reims, Bordeaux. In 2015, I try painting, I buy canvases, oil and acrylic paint, bombs... Painting is stronger than me, I can't get anywhere, it's a real challenge... But I persist and this gives birth to paintings with a loose gesture and line, spontaneous, sometimes simplistic, even childish. However, each creation is the result of maturation... The first jets, those born from the white canvas, are never the right ones. I find them "too licked", not disturbed enough, too complicated and sometimes too readable. So I cover them with a second creation, feeding on the first. "The first" is always created with the intention of being like definitive. But, finished, I look at it, and the more I look at it, the more I feel it as unfulfilled. So, I put it aside, sometimes for many months and, one day, I take it back, I allow myself to "destroy" it by covering it but feeding on it.
