About The Artwork

For a long time I did not use oil paint and mostly painted in watercolor. One day, I brought beautiful fruits from the market and I was very inspired by the ripe yellow guava, from which came a delicious citrus aroma for the whole house. I took a watercolor and started painting. I really liked the result, and I decided to repeat this picture in oil, at first it was difficult to switch to another medium because of difference in the working technique, I tried to paint the fruit with a brush, but in the end I took a palette knife and plunged into creativity with my head. The result you see in the picture.
I hope the viewer will see bright and beautiful colors in a simple design and he will always have a good mood (after all, yellow is the color of joy, and when it combined with blue, it reminds a bright sun on a blue sky). I really like fruit paintings, fruits are the most patient models and looking at them raises the mood. The painting is on canvas not stretched.

Hi! My name is Olga Maloushkina, and I am an artist in my soul. My paintings are part of my emotions from those taken away on travels, or just my fantasies and thoughts. I’ve been drawing since childhood. Just as a child I drew castles and princesses. I always wanted to draw beautiful pictures, but I didn't like something in my drawings.  One day I found an interesting pattern and decided to try this new style.  Surprisingly I liked what I did. And it was a new door to the world of art for me. Even though I started with abstract designs, now I paint still life (fruits, flowers, pieces of nature), and some paintings are just came to me from my thoughts. The inspiration for my drawings, I find in the atmosphere,  in the environment, in natural materials - wood, stone and the ocean.
For me the main thing is to feel the mood is in the air, and then the picture appear by themselves.  Sometimes I think over the sequence of design, and sometimes just start drawing without thinking about the end result.
I paint a lot, because I am inspired by nature, rocks, the ocean, sunlight - all this in some combination brings my thoughts into a creative order. I love to be in a quiet environment, alone with the nature. I also like to share experiences with others artists. ________________________________________ I work with different medias like an oil paint, acrylic, watercolor, markers. Different mediums allows me to express different ideas. I feel the energy inside me, lifting, from which you want to fly, create, and I’d love to share it with others.  ________________________________________ In my drawings/paintings everyone can see for themselves something of their own.  Usually what is connected with their life and dreams.
