In my mind “Gypsy” is a term that has a rich and complex history that spans many countries and cultures. There are numerous stories, folklore, and myths associated with the gypsies, reflecting their rich oral tradition and the various cultural influences they have absorbed over centuries. These stories often feature themes of freedom, the struggle against oppression, connection to nature, and the importance of family and community ties. I reflected all of it in my artwork through the bright colors dancing at the background with playful and curious look of this sweet children.
