1963 Year - At the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece, the Mona Lisa, is exhibited for the first time in America. Over 2,000 dignitaries, including President John F. Kennedy, came out that evening to view the famous painting. The next day, the exhibit opened to the public, and during the next three weeks, an estimated 500,000 people came to see it. Poland
The artist was born in Opole. There, in 2010-2015, she studied at the Faculty of History and Pedagogy of the Opole University at the Institute of Art department, obtaining a master's degree in photography and graphic design studio. She belongs to the Union of Polish Artists. The artist has recently focused on classical art, drawing from the grace of ancient marble sculptures and the depth of mythology, while also incorporating the dynamic energy of pop art. This combination gives the artist a wide spectrum of subject matter to explore. The chosen technique for this style is unconventional; the artist exclusively utilizes paints derived from linseed or safflower oil to depict figures, purposefully abstaining from superfluous solvents. The sole medium employed is pure walnut oil, serving both as a substance for mixing paint during the creative process and as a natural cleansing agent for brushes. "In my recent paintings, I focus on silhouettes and portraiture, capturing contemporary and historical figures set against vibrant, distinctive backdrops. These figures are surrounded by textures and elements inspired by luxurious fashion collections from renowned high-end designers. Monochromatic figures are the focal point, complemented by a series of contrasting elements featuring unpredictable motifs." - says.
