About The Artwork

"Hacienda" transports viewers to a tranquil oasis nestled amidst the golden hues of a California sunset. Positioned within the confines of the hacienda's courtyard, viewers are enveloped in a sense of serenity and calm. As the sun dips below the horizon, the sky ignites in a fiery display of orange hues, casting a warm, ethereal glow over the landscape. The sky dominates the upper half of the canvas, creating a striking backdrop against which the hacienda stands. Behind the hacienda, a lone palm tree rises, its silhouette etched against the blazing sky. Standing tall and proud, it serves as a poignant symbol of resilience and endurance amidst the changing tides of time. Overall, "Hacienda" is intending to capture the timeless beauty and tranquility of a California evening, inviting viewers to bask in the warmth of the setting sun and immerse themselves in the quiet elegance of this idyllic retreat.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

I am a Swiss artist from the region of Fribourg, Western Switzerland. The cubist representation of urban and industrial subjects in the artworks of the American painters Charles Sheeler, Charles Demuth and partially Edward Hopper, influenced me a lot at the time, making me approach this artistic style. Since then the city and nature, in all its forms, remains a great source of inspiration for me. Through my artworks, I exploit the figurative and graphic style close to abstraction but also realism. Oil paint is the essential material I use for my creations, in some cases I use other media and techniques such as acrylic, ink, charcoal, collage and screen printing.
