This painting represents a hand seemingly coming from another dimension or realm. Inspired by cave paintings where hands have been a common motif and also inspired by ancient Roman religion. This is a hand of Neptune, God of the Sea. A blue colour represents shallower waters of the sea while black represents deep waters of the ocean. Bright white hand represents godly sign of “Stop” and precaution coming from the depths of the ocean. For centuries people have sailed the seas, and many lost their lives. This painting is a reminder of dangers out there at sea and it is also a symbol of respect to powers of nature. Sea can be unpredictable, and we have to respect it. This painting is dedicated to all sailors.

For me art is a medium which I use to share my feelings and thoughts. I always adored art but I wasn't able to use this medium in a way I wanted. Until I got a calling. Just some paintings of mine are going to be for sale, the ones that I want to share. I prefer to paint for my own eyes and for me to enjoy. “Art is the only serious thing in the world. And the artist is the only person who is never serious.” ― Oscar Wilde
