ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I made this at the end of 2018. For me, 2018 has been extremely tough, a new environment, new culture, etc. I am so glad me and my hubby came this far and stayed in one piece! To finish up this year, I decided to make a painting to sweeten our sour soul, and it must be sweet enough to encourage us move on to the next chapter of 2019. I am very happy the mushrooms fireworks turn out so surprisingly good, I have lost count how many types of mushrooms are in there, but one thing I am sure of is none of them are supposed to be eaten! I really like this painting, telling such a joyful story at night. Each mushroom is like a slowly rising fireworks, frozen in the night sky.
