About The Artwork

The Headshot of Kurt Cobain is a street style interpretation of a black and white band photo. The aim was to create a haunting realism using acrylic dyes then overlaid with a couple of aerosol techniques to create moody textures

Robbie's Street Art aims to bring the energy and exuberance of the Global Street to transform any space. His work aims to help any graffiti fan own a piece of street style art. Robbie's work tends to avoid a Geo-political guerrilla stance and heavily focuses music at the centre of the genre. Robbie is a native of Manchester and a graffiti junkie preferring image over script. Self taught with no formal art background, he uses mostly laminate panelling and canvas mixing the mediums of aerosols and acrylic dyes to complement his compositions. His work is expressive and his colour ways elevate his pieces to create a flush wall finish. Robbie has largely suffered from artist isolation whilst building an impressive portfolio and now feels the time is right to promote his art outside of the studio.....
