About The Artwork
Digital photo allturation&collage. This work is a part of "Decode your pixels" exhibition. The scene is located on Budva's swank beach called "Richard's head" It's located on Montenegro Adriatic coast surrounded by old stone city walls. "Heatwave" photo was taken by an android mobile application on 20.july 2015. as a specimen for the time,space&spirit analyses. The three are the underwriter characters as the question lingers: Is the rigid sky in the eye of the beholder? What reality has to offer us is our point of view. Who is willing to make some soul melting and cast a new, better patterns? But still, the latest research in physics says that maybe we don't even have that option to choose, that everything happening around us is developed in such a precise manner as if the creation of the universe must have been directed, somehow arranged to happen. So what if everything we are and meant to be in the future is already on its destined course by laws of the universe. What is really in our power? What is really our decision?

Milica Jovic is an Architect, Artist&Designer. She was born in Serbia on November 12, 1978, Niš, where she graduated on Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture -University of Niš, and earned Master of Architecture degree. She lives and works in Budva Montenegro as an Architect. Her artwork is based on decoding human spirit and represents her willingness to dig deep into secret mechanisms operating on her inner computer. Her work is dedicated to media research, experience of reality in symbolic and narrative structures. Through digital art she is in constant search for harmony and fulfillment and limitless potential of the human spirit. Years of experience in the field of digital technologies and tools that provide us with the modern means of communication helped her in architecture and interior design as well as with the research and her artwork on illustrations and powerful messages they convey. She is using digital tools to provoke questions that are necessary on the path of self-realization and coping with her own truth.
