Heavenly Painting

This is an intriguing painting that features a vivid mix of reds, pinks, and bright yellows, creating a dynamic and intense visual experience. The faces seem to emerge from the swirling background, almost as if they are part of the atmosphere, blending into the mysterious landscape. The use of bright yellow in contrast to the deep reds and soft pinks adds a striking element. The texture of the paint gives the piece a tactile quality, inviting closer inspection and deeper contemplation. The almost hidden visages represent the souls or spirits ascending and watching over us. The entire scene is alive with spiritual energy, serving as a reminder that we are never truly alone. In "Heavenly," I am addressing the universal themes of afterlife and spirituality. My goal was to capture the essence of transcendence and the delicate boundary between the earthly and the divine. I wanted to visualise the journey of the soul from the physical world to the spiritual world that awaits beyond. However, I believe art is in the eye of the beholder. So, my idea is to let art be open to various interpretations and allow the viewer to find their own meaning, value and self in the artwork. "Heavenly" has been selected for the Unreal - 2024 exhibition by Gallerium.
