About The Artwork
A rider on a horse has been wounded by the words of a lover. A few numbers from a dart board encircle his heart. This peace features Cotto's PEACEMAKER figure, a reoccurring theme in his work inspired by a graphic novel he is creating. The dripping horse was inspired by stains Cotto recorded from subway stations throughout NYC along with marker numbers.
