François Duboc a fait ses études à l’école des Beaux-Arts de Rouen.
Après l’obtention de son diplôme en 1983, il a partagé son temps
entre un travail personnel voué à être présenté en galeries et la
conception et la réalisation de fresques, de trompe-l’oeil et de décors
peints (Paris, Genève, New York). Il fut cofondateur et animateur
de la galerie associative « Étant donné… »
rue aux Ours à Rouen qui présenta une soixantaine de jeunes artistes contemporains entre 1988 et 1992.
Depuis 2001, il se consacre entièrement
à sa peinture dans son atelier de la rue Beauvoisine à Rouen.
