Heroin Painting

My latest project "Drugs" I was always interested in finding out what makes people take drugs and how that affects them. I myself am completely "clean" , I have never done any , including weed. I wanted to try and look at two sides of the addiction- the dark one, which is the reality - degradation of personality , becoming an antisocial element , serious health damage and often,death. But I also wanted to show the other side of it - the " bright" one, that's to say - the effect drug gives. I wanted to try make people ask themselves if it's worth it. I wanted the contrast between the to to be as big as possible. Also, the 4 abstract pieces of psychedelic dreams are my first experiences in non-figurative painting.
