My workform follows an expressionist style, but is more like Naive Art in secret.Naive art is a unique style that expresses simple but intense emotions. I think that when I unravel my work in an intuitive and emotional way without using complex techniques, the message contained in it can be conveyed more directly. This is because when I am influenced by Naive art in works such as "Happy Woman Chun Shim-i", the truth and purity of the emotion can stand out and form a deep connection with the viewers. Happiness is at the center of my work. It does not mean only grand achievements or brilliant moments. Rather, I would like to capture small moments of joy, small but deep resonant emotions that suddenly rise in everyday life.In particular, I pay attention to the happiness of women living today. Even in the eyes of the world and the expectations of their roles, women tend to live their lives in their own way and discover precious moments. When they smile, when they open their hearts sincerely, the smile that blooms like a flower is the most beautiful scenery I want to capture on the canvas.The figure in the painting makes eye contact with the viewer with a bright expression, as if she became one among the flowers. Her smile is not just a facial expression, but a testament to deep-rooted joy. A tiny but powerful happiness sustains life, sometimes just like the moment when you smile in a mirror while wearing your favorite clothes on a sunny day.To record these brilliant moments of women, I continue to paint.
