Higgs bosons obey the conservation of energy law, which states that no energy is created or destroyed, but instead it is transferred. The Higgs boson (or Higgs particle) is a particle in the Standard Model of physics. In the 1960s Peter Higgs was the first person to express the idea, and the particle was found in March 2013. It is one of the 17 particles in the Standard Model. The Higgs particle is a boson. Bosons are particles responsible for all physical forces except gravity. This creation from Michael is his interpretation of this particle. Done acrylic on canvas this 24" x 36" piece, with 1.5 inch wrap around canvas, it is ready to hang and does not need framing. Born and raised near the beach in Southeast Texas, have lived in many different states and countries, currently live on the coastal waters of Galveston bay. Being a "Renaissance Man" as my friends call me, my wealth of knowledge has matured over the years and shows in my work. With over 35 years of painting and photography, I continue to grow and refine my creations. 2015 was in 100 buses in Raleigh area with Art on the Move for most of the year. I have won several awards, in galleries, and currently on display at the USDA Gallery in Washington, D.C. I grew up around nature. Horticulture, flowers, and various works in wood, stone, and other media have moved me to painting on acrylic on canvas and other media.
