Alessia Sersanti was born and raised in Rome, Italy, in 1973 where she learned how to paint from her mother who was a local artist in Rome during the 70’s. She is a painter and a fashion designer. As a painter, she studied Renaissance painting techniques from a local artist in Florence, where she developed a love for the expressive potential of abstract art. As a designer, she designed a line of luxury women’s handbags for the Asian market entirely manufactured in Italy and launched her own brand in 2017.
