"Hint of the Absurd". After Goya's "Grande hazaña! Con muertos!". This piece was inspired by and directly references a Goya etching depicting the horrors of the Spanish Peninsular War in 1808. In this work, I wanted to reimagine this ghastly scene by considering a modern palette and painting style while adding mundane elements like chairs and hanging clothes.
