Hontoon is a state park close to my home. The unique think about it is that you reach the park by riding a ferry. It's a short but pleasant trip across the river. This day when I visited, the morning fog was especially thick. I was fascinated by how the fog obscured the water, buoy and shore, while leaving the water lilies and foreground grasses were much more visible. The mood was quiet and peaceful, almost like being in a church. Reverential. This painting is gallery wrapped and ready to hang.
