Alessandro Gretter was born in Trento ( Italy ) in 1987. Graduated student at the Academy of Fine Arts “ G.B. Cignaroli “ of Verona ( February 2014 ). He has always had a strong passion for art, painting in particular. This passion leads him to begin his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts Cignaroli in Verona. In this environment Alessandro has the great oppotunity to experiment and try his art, developing his projects also having the occasions to visit, several times, few of the best art temples in New york like: MoMa, Guggenheim and Metropolitan. All these experiences and this vibrant evironment make him able to reach his own style. He represents human expression, and mostly expression of anger, rage, fury, hate; actuality themes. By the use of this imagery he tries to reach the souls of the observers, his purpose is try to enchant and at the same time bewitch the public who admires his artworks. He tries to do that using strong colors like black red and white, creating powerfull contrast. All this process gives birth to Alessandro's art concept, highlighting the grotesque and the darkness of his style. As a Result of this his thesis : EVIL AND VIOLENCE IN ART. Once he graduated he takes the chance to move to England, where he spend two years living in Bristol. Here his career began and he happened to find his first international contacts and the opportunity to exhibit internationally. He is currently based in his own town, Trento, back to Italy.
