my own dog is sometimes standing upright, one paw lifted up, looking watchful, and he reminds me of a horse. Mixing images gives me pleasure. Humor is characteristic in most of my 'animal-things' . Hope you enjoy this aspect of my work and especially in this small picture. Besides, the canvas existed already, before I decided to paint this special animal. Is it a dog or a horse? it sure is a piece of contemporary art by a dutch artist.
